Police are investigating after the body of a woman, believed to be aged in her 50s, was found at the scene of a fire that engulfed a house in regional Queensland.

About midnight, emergency crews were called to Booker Street at Woolooga, a rural town located roughly 210km north-west of Brisbane, to find the property engulfed in flames.
