MANILA, Philippines — The Creamline Cool Smashers added another ace in their deck as American wing spiker Erika Staunton suits up in pink and will display her attacking prowess in the Premier Volleyball League 2024 Reinforced Conference . 'We're thrilled to announce that Erica Staunton , a dynamic 23-year-old open and opposite spiker from the USA, is joining the Creamline Cool Smashers family!' Creamline said on its socials on Thursday.
The six-foot-one gunner made a stunning performance during her collegiate years in the Northeastern University, where she became a member of the prestigious 1,000 Kill Club, and earning the All-CAA team honors twice. In her first year as a pro, she played in the Finnish Club Oriveden Ponnistus. Staunton, 24, proved to be an efficient spiker, as she previously had a back-to-back 25 kill performance in her match against Elon University.
