MANILA, Philippines — The Creamline Cool Smashers are on the brink of being eliminated in the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational Conference after losing in four sets over the young Kobe Shinwa University (KBS), 25-27, 23-25, 25-23, 21-25, on Tuesday night, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

MANILA, Philippines — The Creamline Cool Smashers are on the brink of being eliminated in the 2025 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference after losing in four sets over the young Kobe Shinwa University , 25-27, 23-25, 25-23, 21-25, on Tuesday night, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City. Creamline now tallied a 1-3 win-loss card, while KBS improved to a 2-1 record.

The Japanese squad held a 22-16 lead in the fourth canto, but Creamline showed heart and trimmed the lead to one after pulling a 5-0 rally, led by Alyssa Valdez’s loaded services that made KBS struggle on its first ball.However, Kobe Shinwa answered back with a 4-0 run with Arisu Ishikawa putting an end to the match as she slammed a powerful crosscourt swing.
