MANILA — Para sa 38 anyos na coronavirus disease survivor na si Karen Gerero, hindi natatapos sa kanyang paggaling ang laban sa naturang sakit.
Matapos gumaling, hindi ito nag-atubiling mag-donate ng kanyang plasma para makatulong sa pagrekober ng mga COVID-19 patients.
"Doon niya nakuha ang sakit. Kinailangan niya mag-emergency [cesarean delivery]. Na-admit din sa hospital ang baby niya," sinabi ni Gerero sa ABS-CBN News nitong Biyernes, Setyembre 11. "Eto pala ang “sense” na 'yun. Maliban sa naging aware na ako na mas lalo pa mag-ingat at mas lalong pahalagahan ang pamilya, nagkaroon ako ng opportunity na dugtungan ang buhay ng ibang COVID-19 patients na tulad ko," ani Gerero.
