COVID19 cases among Filipinos abroad now at 8,433
MANILA - One more Filipino abroad contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 , raising the total of infections among overseas Philippine nationals to 8,433, the country's foreign ministry said Sunday.
Of the total cases, only 2,814 are active as majority have recovered while 538 others have succumbed to the disease. The cases are reported from 59 countries and regions.Weekend figures reported by the DFA from a few countries in the Middle East, through its Foreign Service Posts, reveal only 1 new confirmed COVID-19 case among Filipinos abroad, no new recoveries, and 2 new deaths. pic.twitter.
