A Pasig City court on Monday ordered to hold in abeyance the transfer of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo to the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory from the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City.“...The Chief of the NCR CIDG Custodial Facility, Camp Crame, Quezon City is DIRECTED to hold in abeyance the transfer of the custody of the accused-movant pending the resolution of the subject motion,” the court order read.
Nicole Jamilla, Guo’s legal counsel, told reporters that their camp filed an urgent motion to transfer her detention to PNP Custodial because of the supposed threats to the dismissed mayor.“So naka-set for hearing siya on September 27 on Friday simultaneous with the arraignment. And with that, pending the resolution of the motion, the court issued an order to hold in abeyance her transfer here to PNP Custodial,” she added.
