THE Regional Trial Court (RTC) has ordered the arrest without bail of six Navotas City policemen allegedly involved in the killing of 17-year-old Jerhode 'Jemboy' Baltazar in August.
The order, dated October 3, was issued by Navotas City RTC Branch 286 presiding Judge Pedro T. Dabu Jr.The suspects were identified as Executive M/Sgt. Roberto Balais Jr., Staff Sergeants Antonio Bugayong Jr., Gerry Maliban and Nikko Pines Esquilon, Cpl. Edward Jade Blanco and Pat. Benedict Mangada.
'After evaluating the Resolution of the City Prosecutor,,, the Court finds probable cause to issue a warrant of arrest against all the above-named accused to place them under the custody of the law in order not to frustrate the ends of justice,' the order said.'Wherefore, let a warrant of arrest be issued for the apprehension of all the accused,' it added.
