KOTA TINGGI: Nine individuals, including two foreigners, have been arrested by the police here for selling fireworks and firecrackers without permits.
Kota Tinggi OCPD Supt Hussin Zamora said that the suspects were arrested between 8pm and 11.30pm on Friday following raids at nine different locations.
"We have also seized 16 large boxes and four plastics containing fireworks and firecrackers with an estimated value of RM30,000. He added that two of the suspects also had criminal records while one was a wanted person for a commercial crime case.
