LUCENA CITY — Police intercepted on Tuesday, July 11, three trucks and a backhoe being used in illegal quarrying in Mauban town.
Quezon police said in a report on Wednesday that members of the Provincial Mining and Regulatory Board , assisted by local cops, intercepted the three trucks and the backhoe in Barangay Polo around 4:30 p.m.The report said the backhoe was loaded with rocks and other mineral resources that were illegally extracted.
