Police have arrested a suspected robber who was tagged in the killing of a graduating student of Dela Salle University-Dasmariñas Campus during a follow-up operation on Saturday, April 1. ManilaBulletin
Angelito Erlano, who has previous involvement in robbery cases in the past, was earlier identified by the local police as responsible in the killing of Queen Leanne Daguinsin whose body was found inside her dormitory on March 28.
He said Erlano was collared in Purok 4, Barangay Victory Reyes, Dasmarinas City after police intelligence operatives were posted in areas where he would likely seek refuge. At around 10:40 a.m. on Saturday, he was seen in the area which resulted in his arret. During the raid on the house of Erlano on march 29, police recovered a black shirt with a white stripe and a blue t-shirt marked with a trademark eagle, believed to have been used by the suspect during the commission of the crime.Azurin commanded the Cavite police for aggressively pursuing the case.
