A POLICE officer was butchered by his fellow cop inside a police camp in Taguig City for allegedly having an affair with his wife.In a radio interview, National Capital Region Police Office -Southern Police District spokesperson Major Hazel Asilo said the victim, with a rank of police executive master sergeant, was reported missing by his son, prompting the investigation.Asilo said the victim was last seen on November 28 entering a motel in Taguig City.
Asilo said that according to the affidavit issued by the suspect, with a rank of lieutenant colonel, he caught his wife and the victim in an intimate situation inside her apartment unit.The suspect said he shot the victim and used a hacksaw to dismember his body before putting him inside a sack and transporting his remains to Baguio City to bury it in his ancestral home.The victim’s body was recovered on December 5 through the confession of the suspect.
