Jane Norman will start in March 2023 with a focus on turning around the fortunes of the struggling junior gas explorer.
Cooper Energy has appointed Jane Norman to be next managing director and chief executive officer, as the junior oil and gas explorer works to bring its troubled Orbost plant up to full operating capacity.Ms Norman will start the position on 20 March next year, replacing David Maxwell.
Ms Norman, a Santos executive in the commercial and corporate strategy division, was involved in the oil and Cooper bought the plant from APA Group in June this year based on hopes it can reboot operations to ensure consistent production.
