“Over the weekend, the northeast monsoon will intensify to possibly reach Luzon until Sunday, then Monday and Tuesday,” said weather forecaster Benison Estareja.Pagasa, in its Feb. 9 weather outlook, said ‘amihan’ is expected to bring cooler weather particularly in Luzon until early next week. Cloudy skies with light rains may prevail over Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon and Bicol due to the surge of the northeast monsoon during the weekend.From Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14 to Feb.

“Warm and humid weather conditions will be experienced over the whole country,” the weather bureau said. Isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may continue to affect the eastern sections of Luzon and the Visayas.
