A 45-year-old construction worker was arrested in Pililla, Rizal for raping and impregnating a minor in Barangay Marulas, Valenzuela. The suspect had been on the run for over a decade and faces three counts of rape.
Sa kulungan ang bagsak ng 45-anyos na construction worker na nanggahasa at nakabuntis umano ng isang menor de edad sa Barangay Marulas, Valenzuela , matapos ang mahigit isang dekada.
Ayon kay Police Captain Joan De Leon, chief public information officer ng Valenzuela Police, 12 taon nang pinaghahanap ng batas ang akusado na nahaharap sa tatlong counts ng rape.Inaresto ng pulisya ang suspek sa bahay nito sa Pililla, Rizal noong Biyernes, September 13. “Isang confidential informant ang nakapagturo sa kinaroroonan o pinagtataguan ng gumahasa at nakabuntis sa kinse-anyos na batang babae,” sabi ni De Leon.
Lumalabas sa imbestigasyon ng pulisya na kapitbahay ng akusado ang biktima sa Valenzuela bago ito lumipat sa Rizal matapos ang insidente.“No comment, ma’am,” aniya. “Okay lang naman po rito sa kinalalagyan ko. Maski papaano nakakain din naman ako kahit walang dumadalaw sa akin.” Kasalukuyang nakapiit sa custodial facility ng Valenzuela City Police ang akusado. —KG, GMA Integrated News
