Coach Tim Cone was glad to see Barangay Ginebra put together a solid performance on both ends of the floor en route to overwhelming Rain or Shine, 120-92, on Wednesday night.

The win formalized the Gin Kings ' entry into the quarterfinal round and enhanced their bid for a top 6 finish, which could put them in a best-of-three affair.'We haven't put a good game together this conference,' Cone told media men during the post-game presser at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City. 'Tonight was one of those games where everything came together. We played well defensively and we shot the ball well. We executed really well offensively.

The American mentor said his wards came into the game against Rain or Shine, with a 'chip on their shoulders' so to speak following a 91-86 loss to TNT, which tormented Ginebra in the Governors' Cup finals last year.'We're all disappointed losing to TNT, again, and after losing to them in Finals last conference, I think everybody had their chip off their shoulder tonight,' said the 67-year-old Ginebra coach. 'Hopefully they can keep that chip there moving forward.
