Metro Manila mayors have recently tightened restrictions on unvaccinated and partially vaccinated individuals while the region remains under Alert Level 3 due to the alarming rise in COVID-19 cases.
— Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion expressed support for tighter restrictions on unvaccinated and partially vaccinated individuals not just in the capital region but also nationwide.
Apart from helping curb the spike in infections, the presidential aide said the return to an Alert Level 3 status came in just the right time as well economy-wise as businesses and consumers alike are winding down from holiday splurges.
