LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Two Quezon congressmen asked retailers in this province to comply with the rice price cap under Executive Order No. 39 issued by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
First district Rep. Mark Enverga and second district Rep. David Suarez, House Committee on Agriculture chairman and vice chairman, respectively, reminded rice retailers in this province of the regular milled and well-milled price cap at P41 and P45 per kilo, respectively.
Enverga and Suarez are hoping for the strict implementation of the rice price cap which took effect on September 5 not only in Quezon but also in other provinces in Region 4-A or the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon area.
