The three electoral areas in the Comox Valley Regional District are up for election.
Advanced voting will be on Oct. 5 and 12 in the Comox Valley Regional District Civic Room from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Oct. 6 there will be advanced voting at Denman Activity Centre Gymnasium from 9 a.m. to noon, and New Horizons Hall from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Voting locations on general voting day on Oct. 15 are different for each electoral area, and outlined below. The times for all polls are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., while the trustee for area B has been acclaimed.Electoral Area A, Baynes Sound-Denman/Hornby Islands, has three people running. The incumbent, Daniel Arbour, as well as Gordon Kennedy and Tamara Meggitt.
Electoral Area C, Puntledge-Black Creek, has two people running. Edwin Grieve, the incumbent, and Matthew Ellis.North Island Distance Education School – 2505 Smith Road, CourtenayCVRD Civic Room – 770 Harmston Avenue, Courtenay
