We agree with the CHR's assessment of the measure; the proposed law is vital to the country's efforts to create efficient and effective public transportation systems.SB 2727, introduced by Sen.
'The stated objectives of the proposed measure are to define the rights of commuters; ensure adequate public transportation services to meet the mobility requirements of commuters, including affordability, infrastructure accessible to persons with disabilities and impaired movement, and clean air quality; require stricter driver training; and ensure the fair share of road space for public and active transport, among others.
