ILOILO CITY – Police arrested a member of the Revolutionary Proletarian Army-Alex Boncayao Brigade (RPA-ABB), a breakaway group of the New People’s Army (NPA), in Janiuay town, Iloilo province.
The suspect Noel Café, 60, was arrested last week by the Janiuay Municipal Police Station, backed by the Iloilo Police Provincial Office-Special Operations Group , IPPO Provincial Intelligence Unit, and 603rd Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion -6.
Café was apprehended for murder through a warrant issued by Judge Jose Mauricio Gomez of the Iloilo Regional Trial Court Branch 71 in October 2018. The suspect also has an arrest warrant issued by Judge Redentor Eugenio Esperanza in Janiuay in October 2021 for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
