The Commission on Elections will wait for a complaint as regards the reported distribution of cash envelopes in Nueva Ecija following a campaign rally of presidential Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Newly appointed Commissioner George Garcia made the remark when asked about the distribution of envelopes which was caught on camera outside the governor's residence in the province.
Marcos' party Partido Federal ng Pilipinas said the incident was not part of the “policy” in their core values and principles.
