ZAMBOANGA CITY – The provincial election supervisor of the Commission on Elections in Sulu province escaped death and his brother was wounded in an ambush here on Saturday, Dec. 21.

Investigation said the Amils were on board a Sports Utility Vehicle near their home in Barangay Santa Maria when gunmen riding a motorcycle appeared and shot them. Their driver drove to a hospital here where Naser is being treated for a bullet wound. Their car sustained damage.
