The Commission on Elections has extended the registration period for local absentee voting from March 7 to March 17, 2025.In a resolution issued Monday, the poll body likewise moved the deadline for the verification of LAV registrants from April 8 to April 11. The transmittal of the list of qualified local absentee voters, local absentee ballots, and other election forms was set to April 27, 2025.

Absentee voters in the Philippines include members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines , Philippine National Police , and media practitioners whose duty falls during Election Day.Government personnel, and members of the AFP and PNP should submit their forms before their heads of offices, supervisors, commanders, or officers next-in-charge.
