Butcher took the checkered flag ahead of Ashton Tucker , while Slaunwhite placed third and captured the overall season points crown for the second straight year. Slaunwhite finished wth 2,444 points, 84 more than Russell Smith Jr. . Slaunwhite is the first driver since John Flemming to repeat as the overall points champion. Flemming accomplished the feat twice .Ryan VanOirschot won the Lucas Oil Rookie of the Year Award. VanOirschot had a strong freshman year, finishing fourth in the overall championship standings.The Maritime League of Legends ran their season finale prior to the main feature with Gage Gilby taking the 50-lap feature ahead of Tanton Woolridge and Danny Chisholm .
