MANILA, Philippines: The shear line where the hot and cold air converge continues to affect the northern section of Northern Luzon while the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Palawan, Caraga and Davao Region, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Sunday.
The easterlies are winds coming from the east that pass through the Pacific Ocean and bring warm and humid weather, weather specialist Daniel James Villamil said.He said the shear line is bringing overcast skies with scattered downpour and thunderstorms in Batanes and Cagayan including Babuyan Islands.
