The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective management, the mayor added.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration , Egay has intensified into a severe tropical storm while moving westward over the Philippine Sea. “Current forecast scenario shows that the highest wind signal that may be hoisted will be Wind Signal No. 3 or 4, potentially over extreme Northern Luzon,” the agency said.
