Similar to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), several passengers at the Clark International Airport (CRK) expressed disappointment over the cancellation of their flights due to the technical issues that hit the air navigation traffic system of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.

The technical issues had resulted to the shutdown of the Philippine airspace on New Year’s Day. Airport operations have since returned to normal and recovery flights are being arranged by airline companies.

“Naghintay kami ng flight namin ng 6 p.m. pero walang eroplano.. Sabi naman 9 p.m. daw. Naghintay pa rin kami kaya nakapag check in kami alas-onse na kagabi,” said Revilla.
