Agnes VST Devanadera expressed gratitude to Vice Governor Lilia Pineda for extending the 'Alagang Nanay' program to Clark, highlighting the crucial role of the provincial government in providing the vaccines under Pineda's leadership. \Facilitated by the CDC's Health and Sanitation Division (HSD), the program initially distributed 15,000 influenza vaccines to a wide range of recipients, including CDC employees, CFZ medical frontliners, government agency staff, and personnel from key sectors such as manufacturing, tourism, and business process outsourcing (BPO). An additional 25,000 vaccines are slated for distribution to employees of other CFZ locators in the coming weeks. \The CDC President emphasized the significance of vaccination, particularly in tropical regions where influenza viruses can cause year-round outbreaks. The program extends to dependents of CDC employees, ensuring comprehensive protection against respiratory illnesses.
