A big Christmas tree at Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig caught fire on Dec. 12.
According to a Facebook post by the Baclaran Rescue Alliance for Disaster and Emergency Response, the fire was reported at about 5:05 p.m. and lasted for only four minutes before it was put out at 5:09 p.m.
Videos shared by netizens showed the Christmas tree, adorned with big decorative balls, catching fire on the fourth floor of the mall.Mall guards and employees used fire extinguishers and hoses to put out the fire.
