DASMARIÑAS, Cavite – The local government unit here is prohibiting Christmas caroling as part of local guidelines to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease .
Executive Order No. 69, Series of 2021, signed by Mayor Jenny Barzaga on Dec.14, states that criminal charges shall be filed against any individual who will violate the order. A staff member from the Office of the Administrator told the Manila Bulletin that the order has been forwarded to barangay officials for immediate implementation.
According to the latest data from the Provincial Health Office, Dasmariñas has five COVID-19 cases as of Dec. 13.
