But while the CHR offices are closed until Jan. 21, officials and employees will continue to work from home.
The Commission on Human Rights offices in Quezon City will be physically closed starting Jan. 17, Monday, until Jan. 21, Friday, for massive contact tracing among personnel and persons who transacted business with the commission the past several days.
In its social media post, the CHR said no officials or employees are allowed to report physically in its main offices and the offices of the commission in the National Capital Region and Region IV-A. “CHR hotlines and other reporting channels, including our social media accounts, shall continue to be open and ready to attend to your concerns,” it said.
The CHR had implemented work suspension in its offices last Jan. 3 to Jan. 5 due to the rising cases of COVID-19 infections, particularly the Omicron variant.
