Inaresto ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang isang Chinese national sa Davao matapos mag-apply ng Philippine passport at magsumite ng mga dokumento na hinihinalang peke o hindi totoo ang nakasaad.
Sa ulat ni Jandi Esteban sa GMA Regional TV One Mindanao nitong Miyerkules, sinabing pinangunahan mismo ni Bureau of Investigation-Davao Director Atty. Arcelito Albao, ang padakip sa 21-anyos na suspek.
Tukoy na umano ng NBI ang tunay na pangalan ng suspek na kumpirmadong Chinese pero hindi muna isiniwalat habang patuloy pa ang imbestigasyon. “For verification pa ang nakuha naming… he was born in Fujian, China pati yung mother at father niya so ang latest ang father niya nasa Fujian, China,” ayon naman kay NBI-11 Assistant Regional Director, Jonathan Balite.
