A delegation from Yisheng Biopharma led by chairman Zhang Yi discussed with the Board of Investments about its plans to initiate Phase III of its global multi-center clinical trial for PIKA rabies vaccine and Phase II-III of combined trials for PIKA COV-19 vaccine.

BOI executive director Evariste Cagatan encouraged Yisheng to also consider establishing a manufacturing facility in the Philippines for vaccines and avail of incentives under the law. Yisheng Biopharma plans to arranged a second visit to the country to meet up with prospective partners and immerse on site visits for potential manufacturing sites/facilities with possible local partners and work on the preparations for the clinical trials of its vaccines.
