MANILA, Philippines — Chery Tiggo recovered from a third-set slip to beat PLDT , 25-12, 25-23, 20-25, 25-22, in the Premier Volleyball League 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Tuesday.The Crossovers opened the match with a convincing 25-12 first-set win, before the High Speed Hitters came close in the second frame 25-23. PLDT found its groove in the third set as Del Palomato deflected the attacks from Chery Tiggo 's go-to gunner Ces Robles, 20-25. Jen Nierva.
Jen Nierva threw her body all over the court and took care of Chery Tiggo's floor defense, tallying a double-double performance of 17 excellent digs, and 16 excellent receptions.'I started my day watching PLDT, and I have six pages on how to go against them. I think that is something new that I did today, and I think it is effective since it is different if you really know your opponent,' Nierva said.
