At 7:40 pm that same day, police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Belvedere Avenue. There were no injuries, however, while interacting with one of the drivers, officers observed the driver displaying signs of alcohol impairment.

At 3:44 a.m. on Dec. 11, while on patrol an officer came across a parked vehicle on Weymouth Street with the engine running and a man sleeping in the driver's seat. The officer woke the driver up and determined he was impaired by alcohol before arresting him. On Dec. 12, shortly after 2 a.m., an officer on patrol witnessed an erratic driver on St. Peters Road and pulled it over.
