CHARLOTTETOWN — Ross Campbell scored the shootout winner to give the Charlottetown Islanders a 6-5 win over the Saint John Sea Dogs on Thursday night.

Michael Horth scored twice in regulation while Lucas Romeo, Ross Campbell and Giovanni Morneau had one goal apiece for Charlottetown.Joseph Ianniello, Vince Élie, Peter Reynolds, Pavel Simek and Eriks Mateiko tallied for Saint John.DRUMMONDVILLE - Tomas Lavoie scored twice as the Cape Breton Eagles defeated the Drummondville Voltigeurs.

Luke McPhee and Thomas Bégin had singles for Cape Breton. Eagles goaltender Nicolas Ruccia saved 25 of 27 shots. Ethan Gauthier scored twice for Drummondville. Voltigeurs goaltender Riley Mercer stopped 23 of 27 shots.This report by The Canadian Press was first published Oct. 26, 2023.
