JOHN'S, N.L. — St. John’s is forecasted to receive about 30 to 40 cm of snow between Monday night and Wednesday morning, so the City of St. John’s issued several news releases related to snowclearing and service interruptions.
The 24-hour parking restriction is in effect, which means residents are not allowed to park vehicles on the street outside the designated downtown area. Vehicles parked on the street may be ticketed and/or towed.Garbage and recycling collection is postponed until Wednesday, so anyone with Tuesday waste collection should put their garbage out on Wednesday instead. People who normally get their garbage picked up on Wednesday might notice a delay in collection.
