Cena defeated Adam Verk Moncal Ebro in the final round to finish with 5.5 points and win the men's gold medal over Navy teammate Ezekiel Marino of Manuel S.

Lyra Mae Metrillo of Philippine State College of Aeronautics-FAB campus and Christtenne Fagtanac of Philippine State College of Aeronautics, meanwhile, placed second and third, respectively, to also give Air Force the women's team championship.'Playing chess in the ROTC Games has been an incredible experience.
