MANDAUE CITY, Cebu — It’s going to be a rainy week in Cebu as Tropical Depression Odette nears the Philippine Area of Responsibility .
Odette is projected to enter PAR on Tuesday, December 14, and may reach typhoon category by Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. “Current track and intensity forecast shows that there is a moderate to high likelihood that Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal will be hoisted for the provinces of Visayas and Mindanao. The highest possible wind signal that may be hoisted for this tropical cyclone is TCWS #4,” Pagasa said in its Tropical Cyclone Advisory No. 1.
In Lapu-Lapu City, CDRRMO personnel started at dawn on Sunday the transfer of boxes of relief goods to the island barangays of Caohagan, Caubian and Pangan-an.
