Former University of the Philippines standout and fellow Cebuano guard Paul Desiderio will beef up the Manila Chooks! 3×3 squad set to do battle in the FIBA 3×3 Ulaanbaatar Super Quest. “For me, Paul is a big help kasi we all know how he plays and alam natin kung saan siya magaling. Ang sarap ng buhay na may kasama ka sa isang aspeto na kulang ang team and alam natin scoring machine siya and he has a high basketball IQ,” Tallo said of Desiderio, a native of Liloan town, Cebu, in a press release.

“I just want to help the team to win more games. This will be my first time competing in a 3×3 international level but with our team’s effort, I know we are working hard every day for this, and we will try our best and just go out there and win.”

GOSSIP GIRL: Kim Mingue teary-eyed during fan meet in ManilaGOSSIP GIRL: Kim Mingue teary-eyed during fan meet in ManilaI was fortunate enough to be the host of Korean actor Kim Mingue’s fan meet last Friday. Secretary Cha from Netflix’s Business Proposal was a hit with his Pinoy fans. The SVIP seats were priced at P11,000 but all were sold out, practically all the seats were taken except for a few that you can count with your fingers. Filipino producer Rise Media must have had bonuses for their staff after the concert. Where is my bonus Rise Media? Just kidding. To be up close and personal with Mingue was already a bonus for me. Maybe some Ever Bilena makeup would be great as well.
