Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo revealed that his friend and fellow Olympian, Filipino-British gymnast Jake Jarman , had a hand in helping him win the gold in the 2024 Paris Olympics vault event.Yulo, in an interview with Pia Arcangel on 24 Oras during his visit to GMA Network on Tuesday, shared that he joined Jarman at the latter’s gym for a training camp on the road to Paris. There, he was able to pick up some new things, particularly in the vault.
Mike Blake In Paris, Jarman, representing Great Britain, and Yulo both found success in the floor exercise, where Yulo won his first gold medal. Jarman secured the bronze in the same event.In the vault, they both competed in the finals again.Jarman scored 15.100 on his first vault and 14.766 on his second to finish at 14.933. That was good for fourth place, just shy of the podium. Yulo, meanwhile, scored 15.433 on his first vault and 14.800 on his second. His score of 15.
