ZUS attempted a comeback after pulling a 4-0 run, 22-16, capped by Nikka Yandoc's drop. Norielle Ipac stopped the bleeding for Capital1, and Tushova hammered a shot to send the Solar Spikers to match point advantage, 24-16. Dolly Versoza scored via a crosscourt kill, while Michelle Gamit scored an ace to keep the Thunderbelles alive, 24-18. But that was it for ZUS.
