The event, which began in 2020 prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held on Saturday from 5-6 p.m. at Centre 200 in Sydney. The event will feature hockey players within the Lebanese and Syrian communities from across the country. The St. Joseph's Lebanese and Syrian Benevolent Society of Sydney is a longstanding community organization that has been in existence since 1909.

Some of the top Lebanese and Syrian descent players from the community include Kevin Morrison, John Hanna, John Hanna Jr., Fabian Joseph, Blair Joseph, Barkley Haddad, Joey Haddad, Doug Sulliman, Paul Andrea, Dougie Abbass and the late Adrian Morrison.
