SYDNEY, N.S. - Malcolm Munroe and Dr. T.L. Sullivan claimed victories in Cape Breton Middle School Soccer League girls' 'A' action on Thursday. Dr. T.L. Sullivan posted a convincing 8-0 win over Centre Scolaire Étoile de L'Acadie at Steelemen's Field in Sydney. Peyton Jessome scored three times, while Lexie Green and Claire Howley both netted a pair of goals. Natalia Voutier also chipped in with a goal for the Florence school.In other action, Malcolm Munroe defeated Breton Education Centre 3-1 at MacKinnon Field in New Waterford.Sydney Raycroft notched the lone goal for BEC.- Jeremy Fraser is the sports reporter for the Cape Breton Post.
