In a memorandum released Saturday, Camarines Sur Gov. Miguel Luis Villafuerte told local disaster risk reduction and management councils to evacuate residents in low-lying areas, areas near mountain slopes, areas at risk of flooding and storm surges, and residents whose houses are made of light materials.In Sagñay, Camarines Sur, however, Don Panoy, the town’s disaster risk reduction and management officer, said that they will conduct forced evacuations of those in risky areas on Monday.
“Today, we will have a mass information dissemination during the boodle fight as we celebrate the town fiesta,” Panoy said.
