The City Government of Caloocan has already made preparations and contingency plans in order to mitigate the effects of the announced transport strike to be conducted by various transport groups on October 16 to October 17.
In addition to these efforts, classes in all levels for both public and private schools were declared to shift to online learning modality on October 16 for the benefit of commuting students. “Patuloy po ang pagtutok natin sa sitwasyon upang ang interes ng lahat ng ating mga mamamayan, mapa-driver, commuter, o kahit mga pedestrian ay mapapangalagaan natin,” the Mayor said.
“Pakiusap po natin sa lahat ng mga Batang Kankaloo na patuloy na makipagtulungan sa ating mga awtoridad upang at sundin ang lahat ng mga batas-trapiko upang makaiwas tayo sa anumang mga aberya at aksidente,” Mayor Along stated.
