Clark launches COVID19 hotline for Pampanga, Tarlac

Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone officials on Tuesday launched a coronavirus disease 2019 hotline to help contain the spread of the illness.

The Clark Development Corporation , in a statement, said it tapped TaskUs, a customer experience company operating at Clark Global City to receive calls in its central hotline from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily. "Clark’s emergency hotline #1232 will now have a dedicated prompt that will exclusively cater to COVID-19 concerns. Pressing no. 1 after hearing the main voice prompt, calls will be received and entertained by hotline operators who are capable of answering basic inquiries regarding COVID-19," CDC said.

"They may, in turn, direct them to nurses and medical staff at CDC Health and Sanitation Division to address more specific concerns. HSD staff will be on hand to help assess medical conditions of persons having flu-like symptoms and will advise them of home quarantine procedures," it added. The said project will serve as an immediate emergency response and will lessen the number of people going out following the Luzon lockdown, the CDC said.
