WORLD Chess Olympiad sensation Ruelle Canino has made Cagayan de Oro City proud.
Canino, popularly known as 'Tawing' in the chess community, is the third female chess player from Cagayan de Oro to make it to the world's highest chess pinnacle in women's team competition.
Impressive in the way she qualified at a young age to the Philippine women's team in this year's World Chess Olympiad,' said national chess arbiter Lorenzo Cuizon, Cecil's better half, in commending Canino's feat.
