MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines continues to monitor the Topflite Academy of Aviation Inc. even after lifting its suspension following a recent accident in Zambales.The CAAP lifted the suspension on TAAI's flight training operations on Aug. 6, 2025, but required the school to submit corrective action plans to respond to the inspection findings within a designated period.
On July 11, 2025, a Cessna 172 aircraft with registry number RP-C2211 crashed in Iba, Zambales while on a training flight from Subic. Everyone on board, including the flight instructor and three student pilots, sustained injuries but remained conscious and taken to a hospital.The aviation regulator promptly suspended Topflite's training activities for a week and initiated an investigation into the matter.
