The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration-Davao Region continues to assist distressed OFWs through its 'Balik Pinas, Balik Hanapbuhay' program, providing financial support for livelihood projects and facilitating the repatriation of OFWs who passed away abroad.

THE Davao City Business Bureau announced that it will extend its hours to accommodate the expected influx of Dabawenyos renewing their business permits, opening on Saturdays throughout January.Maribel Paguican, head of the Bureau, shared that the office will also be open on January 28 to help applicants meet the deadline. She underscored the importance of early renewals to avoid penalties.

The deadline for renewal is January 31, 2024. Paguican assured business owners that the process remains efficient, with no additional requirements.The Business Bureau has set up 10 processing locations across the city to accommodate business permit renewals. The Sanguniang Panlungsod Building will serve the Poblacion District, Almendras Gym will cater to Talomo and Agdao Districts, Gaisano Grand CityGate Mall will handle Buhangin and Calinan Gym will assist the Calinan District.
